meet The Founder

Jadee Wesley (née Rooney) is a former pro basketball player and UW–Parkside Hall of Famer who founded Rooney Basketball Academy in 2023 to train and mentor young athletes in Milwaukee.

A Wisconsin native and one of Parkside’s all-time greats, Jadee now channels her experience into personalized skills development for players in grades 4–12, with a focus on confidence, discipline, and a deep love for the game.
